Job description
Our client, a large family practice, is hiring multiple Physician Assistants to join their organization at one of several locations.
Contract Type: Full-Time Direct Hire (W2)Salary: Dependent on previous experience.Location: East Side DetroitBenefits: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, PTO, Holidays, 401K.
Job Description:The Physician Assistant (PA) will provide primary healthcare services to patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. PAs work in collaboration with other providers and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions. They also provide preventative care, such as physical exams, screenings, and immunizations.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Perform comprehensive physical exams and assessments.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and other therapies.
  • Provide preventative care, including physical exams and screenings.
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Current state nursing license as a PA.
  • At least 1 year of recent working experience in a family medicine/practice setting.
  • Experience with telemedicine is a plus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to educate patients and families.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping skills.
