Plumbing Designer

A Plumbing Designer to utilize AutoCAD and Revit to create designs for plumbing systems on commercial projects.
Required:

• Associates degree or technical drafting certification
• 7+ years’ experience as a plumbing designer working on commercial projects
• Familiarity with applicable building codes and associated engineering design practices
• Proficiency using AutoCAD
• Proficiency using Revit

Preferred:

• BIM Coordination experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and layout of engineering drawings within the Plumbing and Fire Protection specialties.
• Preparation of complete Plumbing and Fire Protection calculations including water supply, storm drainage, and equipment sizing.
• Design Plumbing systems including sanitary waste and vent, storm water, domestic water distribution systems and natural gas distribution systems.
• Design, size, select, schedule, and specify basic Plumbing system components to include fixtures, specialties, and equipment.
• Design and select fire protection systems and equipment.

Pay Range: $33.65/hr. - $50/hr.
