Job Description:

Pay Range: $16.78hr - $21.78hr
  • The General Clerk is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support, performing data entry, maintaining records, supporting reporting activities, and assisting with training and quality monitoring within the department.
Responsibilities:
  • Gather, compile, verify information, and perform accurate data entry.
  • Follow detailed procedures to complete repetitive clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and operating basic office equipment.
  • Assist with administrative activities including verifying reports for accuracy, compiling information, scheduling, and handling complaints.
  • Provide training to new hires and temporary staff and communicate procedure changes in coordination with department leadership.
  • Assess the quality of work completed by section clerks and enter quality data into the work management system.
  • Prepare and provide weekly and monthly statistical reports to the supervisor.
Experience:
  • Two years of experience in an administrative, clerical, or operations role.
Skills:
  • Ability to learn new technologies for data entry, calendar management, and report creation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualification And Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
