Summary
– Perform installation, fabrication and repair work at field sites. % travel.Responsibilities
Perform site measurements, disassembly and installation tasks on Hydro mechanical equipment.
Facilitate rigging and lifting of components.
Perform on-site welding and fabrication tasks.
Inspect and prepare parts for installation.
Support material handling and material preservation at site.
Ensure safe work practices and perform safety inspections.
Qualifications
Certification or minimum of 3 year experience as millwright, boilermaker, machinist or welder
High school diploma or GED.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read drawings and technical documentation.
Computer literate / Knowledge of Computer programs (Excel, Word, Access, Tool Watch).
Experience in welding and machining will be considered as desired.
Crane operator, rigger, signal person qualification are a plus.
OHSA certification required and OHSA certification preferred.
Interest to take on a leadership role and become a supervisor.
