Responsibilities

  • Fabricate electrical equipment according to drawings
  • Receive components and confirm against drawing and / or list of materials or quality standards
  • Solder / fit / assemble components
  • Fabricate specialty parts
  • Recommend improvements
  • Conduct operations in a safe manner
  • Follow all safety rules and policies
  • Inspect fabrications for quality, safety, and operation as requested
  • Audit equipment against drawings as requested
  • Prepare equipment for shipment
  • Support fabrications for quality, safety and operation as requested
  • Support start-up and equipment repair as requested
  • Trouble short and repair systems as requested
  • Will play an active role in identifying and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunity
  • Execute other tasks as assigned
  • Domestic and international travel is required.

    • Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years’ experience in Electrical Assembly or Industrial Controls
  • Awareness of and prior experience with implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) a plus
  • Prior Lean / Six Sigma experience a plus
  • Able to lift a minimum of lbs. / kilograms
  • Typical work is in a manufacturing environment or customer’s site
  • Required to stand for long periods of time and may involve heavy manual labor
  • You will need to be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, and carry items
  • Exposure to loud noises
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment
