Job description
What you will do
  • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, permitting entry.
  • Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures.
  • Controls traffic by directing drivers.
  • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
  • Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
  • Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications
  • Must have a current guard card
  • Surveillance/Judgment Skills
  • Dependability
  • Must have integrity, professionalism, and thorough reporting skills
Physical Demands
  • Frequently push or pull up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
  • Often work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
