Aligned around a shared purpose, our $3.9B company and 16,000 people work alongside our clients, here and abroad, to tackle their most complex challenges with integrity, respect, responsibility, and professionalism.As a Licensed Heavy Equipment Operator Journeyman, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery used in the construction, excavation, demolition, and installation of systems.Position will be located at Buckley SFB.

This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.


Responsibilities

Major Job Activities:

  • Provides OSP services requiring trenching, loaders, dump trucks, etc.
  • Performs tasks involving physical labor at installation sites to aid daily operations.
  • Performs site preparation and implementation activities required to implement approved OSP solution.
  • Operates hand and power tools of all types, including air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
  • Prepares sites; digs trenches; sets braces to support the sides of excavations; erects scaffolding; and cleans up rubble, debris, and other waste materials.
  • Assists in restoration activities to return site to previous condition before project work.

Material & Equipment Directly Used:

Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and heavy equipment.

Working Environment:

Outside environment with potential to support austere locations.

Physical Activities:

Must be able to lift / carry 100 lbs.


Qualifications

Education / Certifications:

  • High School diploma

Experience / Skills:

  • 5 Years
  • Professional operator’s license for heavy machinery.

Skills & Technology Used:

  • Various heavy machinery equipment.
