Economics Teacher – Lead A-Level Provision and Support Sixth Form Centre Excellence – Guernsey

This Secondary School, in conjunction with The Sixth Form Centre, is seeking a highly academic Economics Teacher to lead the A-Level provision from January 2026.

• Economics Teacher required from January 2026.

• Guernsey-based role teaching role across School & Sixth Form.

• Seeking an academic specialist to drive A-Level Economics success.

You will teach Economics across KS4/5, specializing in A-Level delivery at The Sixth Form Centre. The role requires rigorous teaching of complex concepts, successful delivery of practical endorsements, and mentoring students applying for competitive UK university courses.

Experience and Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant Economics degree.

• Proven success in achieving outstanding results in A-Level Economics.

• Expertise in delivering mandatory theory.

• Willingness to contribute to extension programs (e.g., Economics Olympiad, Oxbridge preparation).
