Position Summary
The Shop Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, equipment, and machinery to ensure safe and reliable operation. This role performs mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs, maintains service records, and supports overall shop organization and workflow. The Shop Mechanic collaborates with team members and leadership to ensure work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with company quality standards.

Physical Requirements
This role involves regular physical activity. You must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs and perform work that requires standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and climbing for extended periods, both indoors and outdoors. The position also requires frequent use of hands, wrists, and arms to handle, grip, grasp, and operate tools, equipment, and mechanical components, while safely working around mechanical equipment, moving parts, and varying temperatures in required PPE. These physical tasks are essential to performing this job safely and effectively.
