Description
Instructors Cedar Hills Recreation Center is seeking instructors to join our diverse team and teach classes to preschool and school-aged youth in any of the following program areas:
- Gymnastics – Pre-Gym, Levels 1-3
- Sports – Examples: Basketball, Soccer, Football, Lacrosse, Tennis, T-Ball/Softball/Baseball, Karate, and Introduction to Sports/Athletics (multi-sport classes)
- Dance – Examples: Ballet, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Dress Up and Dance
- STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering
- Arts and Crafts
Hours: Staff are scheduled anywhere from 5 to 29 hours per week; with flexible scheduling depending on skill and availability, between the hours of 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, Monday – Friday, and 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Saturdays.
Part-time employees are scheduled variable hours and may work less than 1,560 hours per year. Cross-training in a variety of other center positions such as Recreation Leader, Front Desk Support, Middle School Coach and more is also available.
Compensation : $17.90 - $24.24 hourly, depending on years of full-time experience*

- : No teaching experience required, must love working with people of all ages and abilities; be able to work inside and outside; and be at least 16 years of age. Pay Rate Range: $17.90 - $19.00 Hourly
- : Must have at least 1 year of experience in leading and instructing general classes and be at least 16 years of age. Pay Rate Range: $19.51 - $21.98 Hourly
- : Must have over 1 year of experience and specialized training in the assigned program area; and be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license. Pay Rate Range: $21.53 - $24.24 Hourly
