Job Title: Corporate Regional Nurse

Reports To: Chief Nursing Officer
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Regional Nurse to oversee the clinical operations of multiple nursing homes in the region. The Regional Nurse will be responsible for ensuring that each facility maintains the highest standards of nursing care, compliance with regulations, and efficient management of nursing staff. This role requires leadership, coordination, and a strong ability to assess, develop, and implement care strategies across multiple sites.
Corporate Regional Nurse Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical guidance and leadership to nursing staff across multiple nursing homes. Ensure that each facility meets regulatory, clinical, and safety standards.
Compliance & Regulations: Ensure nursing homes are in full compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor quality of care and patient safety. Implement improvements based on findings and facility needs.
Staff Training & Development: Develop and implement training programs for nursing staff to ensure ongoing professional development, competency, and adherence to best practices.
Performance Management: Assist in the recruitment, training, evaluation, and performance management of nursing staff across all facilities. Address any performance concerns promptly and effectively.
Care Plans & Documentation: Oversee the development and evaluation of patient care plans. Ensure accurate documentation and communication of patient health conditions, treatments, and progress.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with facility administrators, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordination of patient care and meet organizational objectives.
Budget & Resource Management: Assist in managing nursing budgets and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining quality care.
Crisis Management: Respond to and manage emergencies or crises at facilities, providing guidance and intervention as necessary.
On-Site Visits & Inspections: Regularly visit each facility to conduct on-site inspections, provide support to nursing staff, and assess patient care conditions.
Patient Advocacy: Act as a liaison between patients, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure satisfaction and address concerns regarding care or service.
Corporate Regional Nurse Qualifications:
Education:
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.
BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) preferred.
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in nursing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role in a long-term care or nursing home setting.
Prior experience as a Regional Nurse or in multi-site management is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership, decision-making, and critical-thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Thorough knowledge of healthcare regulations, including state and federal guidelines for long-term care facilities.
Proven ability to manage staff, budgets, and resources effectively.
Ability to work independently and travel to multiple locations as needed.
Corporate Regional Nurse Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, move, and assist patients as needed.
Ability to stand, walk, and move around nursing home facilities for extended periods.
Traveling is required for this role.
