Job Summary

The On-call Support position provides night and weekend support to the Operations and the Hiring Departments. They handle typical dispatching duties as well as filling shifts for substitutions or for any other reason. They may be tasked with paperwork from the Hiring Department or other odd jobs to fill time between dispatching responsibilities. The On-call Support position is responsible for being the point person for the Fulfillment and the Talent Acquisition Departments during irregular business hours.

Essential Functions

· Support Operations Department by assuming accountability for dispatching needs

· Act as point of contact for drivers and customers during irregular business hours

· Identifies potential issues and troubleshoots for solutions

· Maximize and support the number of drivers working

· Oversees the schedules and assignments of Class A CDL drivers; identify driver preferences and needs; maintains appropriate relationships with drivers to support them in obtaining their preferred jobs

· Maintains communication with drivers and carriers to ensure expectations of all parties are being met; provides constructive feedback to drivers

· Advises carriers and drivers on proper utilization of technology to maximize process efficiency

· Advises drivers and carriers of ongoing and upcoming supply chain issues

· Send Driver Qualification files and upload/update documents as needed

· Accident and incident reporting

· Scheduling and sending Drivers to random drug screens as needed

· Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Functions: No

Minimum Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· At least 2 years of experience in customer service

Preferred Qualifications:

· Customer service experience in transportation or supply chain management

Physical Demands:

· Must be able to sit and type at a computer terminal for long periods of time including an entire working day

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Strong Customer Service skills

· Ability to identify and resolve issues

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work independently, within a team, and in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to foster and create relationships between driver staff and clients

· Ability to analyze and leverage data to effectively execute plans

· Knowledge of Customer Relations Management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite

· Ability to identify and resolve issues

Work Environment

· Remote working environment
