Three Rivers provides psychiatric, detoxification/rehabilitation, and dual diagnosis treatment through inpatient services for adolescents and adults. Our outpatient services include a Partial Hospitalization Program offering psychiatric day treatment for adults and seniors and an Adult Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program offering day and evening sessions.
Responsibilities: Enhances the skills and knowledge of nursing staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to provide high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong background in nursing, along with expertise in training development and medical documentation. The Nurse Educator will work closely with various departments, to develop educational programs that align with current medical standards and practices. Responsible for delivering quality general and psychiatric nursing care to adolescent and adult patients hospitalized for treatment of psychiatric or emotional disorders; serving actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization and program or unit philosophy of care; ensuring the safety and well-being of each patient.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor degree in nursing; masters degree in nursing education preferred. Currently licensed in South Carolina or compact state as a Registered Nurse.
Experience: 5 years RN experience with 2 years in behavioral health preferred. At least 1 year of professional/staff development or nursing education preferred.
Thoroughly understands the management of the patient milieu including age specific and cultural requirements and has knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations and all other relevant state and federal regulatory standards including Baker Act.
BLS/CPI Certification training required. Facility will provide.
