Dedicated Physician Assistant to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and neurological evaluations.
  • Develop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician, focusing on neurology, pain management, and internal medicine.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including MRIs, CT scans, and laboratory tests.
  • Provide patient education regarding medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with state regulations and office policies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and pharmacists, to optimize patient care.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of developments in neurology, pain management, and internal medicine through ongoing education and professional development.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in South Carolina.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Previous experience in neurology, pain management, or internal medicine preferred.
  • Excellent clinical skills, including the ability to perform thorough physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests accurately.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions under the supervision of a physician.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and maintain licensure and certification requirements.
