SUMMARY:
Responsible for all activities pertaining to developing, analyzing and maintaining the player database for River Rock Casino and providing a wide range of support to the Guest Services/Marketing Team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides top of the line full service host duties (PR and Sales) on and off company site.
- Provides full cycle event planning for all levels of players and guest,, includes, coordinating, inviting, hosting, costing and follow-up reporting,
- Creates and maintains programs to encourage new player growth and player retention.
- Designs, prepares and presents accurate and relevant data analysis as it relates to marketing client database, provides database support to authorized Team Members.
- Collects and analyzes data to evaluate existing and potential player markets.
- Provides administrative support of a technical nature to Casino Host and Guest Services/Marketing Department (i.e. create electronic copies of reports and activity tracking templates, etc.).
- Works closely with Guest services /Marketing team in preparation for new programs and procedures.
- Monitors and facilitates the introduction of new Casino programs.
- Updates Players Club database with, player point activity.
- Maintains file system for correspondence, records and other related information.
- Audits player activity and submits periodic reports to the Player Development Manager.
- Maintains a positive, upbeat work style for interaction with all guests and fellow Team Members.
- Promotes the Players Club, entertainment, games and eating establishments of the Casino.
- Possesses a general of all games and slot machine throughout the Casino.
- Works in conjunction with all Team Members to enhance guest service and overall image of the Casino.
- Works as a player/guest ambassador by fulfilling every need possible for the guest.
- Creates relationships and connections with the guest by answering general questions etc.
- Services as announcer or emcee during player events.
- Exercises appropriate discretion identifying situations that require management attention.
- Completes all paperwork requirements and departmental logs in an accurate and timely manner.
- Monitors necessary inventory levels and facilitates supply and collateral orders.
- Continuously updates information as necessary on current winners, jackpots and giveaways.
- Provides training to Casino staff in use of computers and corresponding software applications to enhance player development and customer service efforts.
- Maintains complete confidentiality at all times, exercising appropriate discretion in producing and providing information in producing and providing information contained in the database.
- Acts as a role model and always presents oneself as a credit to River Rock Casino and encourage others to do the same.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No supervisory responsibilities for this position.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
- Minimum of three (3) years prior casino/sales experience required with database analysis experience preferred.
- Prior event planning experience for large and small venues preferred.
- Advanced experience with MS -Windows, and MS-Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Must have attention to propensity for timeline and accuracy. Must be able to generate analysis, correspondence
- Must be able to generate analysis, correspondence and reporting in a professional manner. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Excellent and written communication skills required
- Must have experience motivating guest and staff, have excellent interpersonal skills and work as a team with subordinates, co-workers and management.
- Must be able to work independently.

EDUCATION:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- BS/BA degree preferred.

- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are important to the successful conduct of this position.
- Ability to write accurate, grammatically correct, polished reports and business correspondence.
- Must be able to speak with the public in a professional manner.

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurements
- Must understand and employ statistical analysis to slot performance

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Must possess a valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to obtain a gaming license from the Dry Creek Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to maneuver around all areas of the casino.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to lift fifty (50) pounds.
- Must have manual dexterity to operate a computer and other general office equipment.
- Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, twist and grip items.
- Must be able to respond to visual and audio cues.
