Job Opening: Auto Body Painter
Shift: 1st Shift – Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, as needed)
Pay Rate: $19.00 – $21.00/hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced Auto Body Painters to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and paint, with the ability to deliver high-quality results while maintaining safety and productivity standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Mask glass, trim, and other parts not to be painted.
- Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces for painting.
- Mix and match paints to achieve proper color and finish.
- Operate, clean, and maintain spray guns and other painting equipment.
- Read and interpret plans to ensure proper application of product.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Complete daily cleanup of work areas.
Required Education, Knowledge & Skills:
- Associate degree in Auto Body Technology or equivalent school and work experience.
- 2–4 years of automotive body repair and paint experience.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operations manuals, and written directions.
- Must successfully complete:
- Pulmonary function test (for respirator use).
- CRT (physical) test with Medium rating or higher.
- Ability to perform basic shop math.
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
