Voice Teacher - Northwest Austin, TX

About the Position

We are seeking fun, experienced, and professional voice and piano instructors to teach part-time at our Northwest Austin locations: The Musician's Woodshed - North Parmer and Velocity Music Academy - Cedar Park. This teacher will be instructing IN PERSON at our school.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $28-$32/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job. Health benefit options are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble.

The Musicians Woodshed is located in Lake Travis and North Parmer, TX. At The Musicians Woodshed, our instructors design customized lesson plans for each and every student on their schedule. We focus on the student's music tastes, skill set, and personal goals to optimize a music-learning experience. Our performance-based, flexible curriculum offers an exciting, engaging and encouraging environment for students to pick up an instrument. We want students playing music they enjoy, because if a student is playing music they like- they play more. When students play more- they get better.

Velocity Music Academy, our school in Cedar Park and Arbor Trails, Texas, provides positive, memorable opportunities for students of all skill levels to explore their interest in music through a rewarding progression of discovery.
