Across the US, notable projects that Company has worked on include the SR-99 in Seattle, Union Market Street Station in San Francisco, California High Speed Rail in Fresno, Purple Line 2 MTA Stations in Los Angeles, Purple Line 3 MTA Stations in Los Angeles, LAX Metro Connector in Los Angeles, Hudson Yards in New York, Amtrak Tunnel in New York, Henry Hudson Parkway in New York, East Side Access in New York, and the Southwest Green Line in Minneapolis. Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent
As a Project Engineer at Company, reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on California High Speed Rail Construction Package 1, overseeing the construction of drilled shaft foundations.
Description:
Provide support to the Project Superintendent and project leadership and training to the project staff and engineers
Track, review and process Change Proposal Requests, Change Orders, Owner Payment Applications and, if applicable, claims
Monitor job costs, maintain accurate reports and assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in preparing quantity reports, analyzing the labor costs and completing quarterly profit project records
Manage the preparation and executing of the Project closeout process
Research and propose solutions to quality control issues
Verify that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings and specifications
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management or similar from an accredited institution
4 or more years of construction experience
1 or more years of experience in the construction of drilled shaft foundations
Preferred but not required:
Master’s degree
PE registration
Estimating and CAD experience
Expected salary range for this position is 120-150K depending on experience.
