Job Posting: Seafarers ClerkGeneral Description
Assignments are routine in nature and are carried out in accordance with general work instructions and established bookkeeping practices, procedures and precedents.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Enter Seafarer personal data into database, assign File Identification Numbers, and prepare documents for evaluation.General Qualification Guidelines
Experience, Education and Certification
• High School degree required, additional formal education preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office application and use of general office equipment.
• Ability to work in a team environment and a commitment to provide high level of customer service.
• Ability to perform detailed work with numerical data and to make arithmetic computations rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience.
• Able to lift approximately 15-20lbs.
