Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California , is a licensed -bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission. It is Southwest Riverside County's only designated Trauma Center and a county-designated Paramedic Base Station. The hospital performs more than 4, surgeries a year, and has an average of 4, Emergency Department visits per month. The hospital features a Bariatric Weight-Loss Surgery Center of Excellence and the region’s only Total Joint Center.
Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California , is a bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children and under) provided by board certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, which gives expectant mothers /7 on-site access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious family-friendly private suites. Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s.

- Demonstrates the ability to utilize monitoring system, assess findings, intervene as indicated and evaluate.

- Able to titrate drugs according to unit policy in response to changing patient condition.
- Ability to assist with any related processing of documentation within the department.
- Able to manage the schedule on dual campuses and staffing to meet the needs of the schedule.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the step-by-step progress of specific sterile procedures for all special procedure examinations.
- Anticipates Radiologist's/ Cardiologist's needs in regards to instrumentation, sutures, sponges, supplies, etc.
- Displays dexterity in the use of the required instrumentation according to technique, procedure and special requirements.
- Demonstrates ability to function in Special Procedures / Cath Lab situations requiring in-depth technical expertise and knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Anticipates instrumentation/equipment for a wide range of simple and complex procedures.
- Selects appropriate instrumentation, catheters, and supplies consistent with Radiologist's /Cardiologist’s preference.
- Sterile environment is set up and organized prior to patient's arrival into room.
- Able to circulate and document procedure
- Assesses patient prior to procedure reporting to physician all pertinent information.
- Assess patient’s pain, medicates as ordered and documents response.

Qualifications JOB REQUIREMENTS
Two (2) years of recent department specific experience required.
Charge nurse, supervisory expertise in department specific preferred.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing Program
BSN preferred
REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
BLS certification.
ACLS certification.
PALS where pediatric patients are cared for.
Basic EKG/tele interpretation experience required OR completing a Basic EKG class within six months of employment
ASGI certification or CCRN preferred
