Regional Director of Nursing (DON) Missouri

We are hiring a Regional Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee nursing leadership and support multiple skilled nursing facilities across Missouri.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and clinical support to Directors of Nursing at assigned skilled nursing facilities.

• Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in all locations.

• Monitor and support compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.

• Mentor, coach, and develop nursing leadership teams to achieve clinical excellence.

• Lead quality improvement initiatives and assist facilities with audits, surveys, and operational goals.

• Collaborate with executive leadership on staffing, budgeting, and facility performance.

• Travel regularly to facilities within the assigned Missouri region.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri (or Compact RN license).

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) in long-term care/skilled nursing.

• Regional or multi-site nursing leadership experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey processes, and clinical operations.

• Ability to travel frequently within Missouri.

• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
