BAS/BMS Programmer

What Will You Do?
We are seeking a talented BAS/BMS Controls Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will:

• Develop code to control mechanical devices for ventilation, steam, chilled water, hot water, and humidification systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues by identifying the root cause and implementing effective solutions.

• Provide technical guidance and support, including system set-up, check-out, operation, and performance verification.

• Make recommendations for equipment and system modifications to optimize energy efficiency, reliability, and performance.

• Respond to emergency conditions to restore system operation and neutralize alarms.

• Collaborate with project managers, customers, consultants, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.

What Qualifications Will Make You Successful?

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

• Proven experience with BMS/BAS control systems.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, flow charts, and control sequences across multiple software platforms.

• Strong analytical skills to develop innovative solutions for complex control sequences and operational challenges.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills for working with clients, contractors, and consultants.

• Strong computer skills and technical aptitude.

• Knowledge of control devices, sensing, and actuating systems.

• Willingness to learn and stay current with rapidly changing technology and applications.
