Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital is looking for a Locum Hematologist Oncologist to fill their need!Schedule:Dates of Coverage: approx. 10/1/2025 ongoingSchedule: Outpatient Clinic M-F 8a-5p, after hours call as part of call poolCall Schedule: shared call pool, APP support. 5p-7aDetails:Practice Setting: Inpatient consult service, outpatient clinic & infusion center. Cancer Center is attached to the hospitalCall Ratio: 1 in 5Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, GeriatricPractice Percentage: goal for this position is to be nearly all hematologyNumber of Physicians in Practice: 6Radiation Oncologists Present During Locum Tenens Coverage: YesAPPs providing coverage: 5 inpatient (covering 2 hospitals), 6 outpatientAverage Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL (Call/Rounding): 10-15Average Number of Patients Per Day - OUTPATIENT (Clinic/Office): 15EMR: EpicEstimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 daysClinical Area:Hematology - Outpatient SettingOncology - Outpatient SettingOncology - Inpatient SettingHematology - Inpatient SettingRequired Procedures:FNA/BiopsyRequired Duties:Participation on a Tumor BoardOrders TestsOrders ImagesPrescribesBill Rates Needed for SubmissionMalpractice (must be included in the rates)OrientationHourlyHoliday HourlyNight CallHoliday Night CallCall BackHoliday Call BackConversion fee ($25k rate cap)Facility Reimbursement:FlightHotel - $200/night rate cap after taxes and fees.
