Job Overview:

Assist Server in providing quality food and beverage service to guests courteously and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas and equipment. Stock all wares and equipment needed for service.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all restaurant policies/service procedures/standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.
• Maintain positive guest and resident relations at all times.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
• Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation and proper table set ups.
• Maintain knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations.
• Complete opening side duties:

o Check station assignments and complete work to be Transport supplies from storeroom to the Restaurant as Fold napkins as Stock and polish all side station wares to the stated levels required for Set tables.

• Serve water to all guests.
• Serve coffee, tea and other designated non-alcoholic beverages.
• Remove soiled wares and other items from tables as assigned.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of assigned tables.
• Place additional utensils and wares on tables as directed.
• Refill non-alcoholic beverages according to procedures.
• Constantly remove empty dishes when guest finishes in order to create space for additional dishes.
• Clean and reset tables immediately after guest departs.
• Replenish wares in side stations throughout shift.
• Complete closing duties as assigned:

o Properly store all reusable Breakdown all food Breakdown all beverage Restock items for next Secure all supplies at shift end.

• Leave duty after reporting to supervisor.
• Ability to work a varied schedule that may include early morning, evening, night, and weekend shifts
