Job descriptionPediatrix Medical Group is urgently seeking a full-time Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB-GYN Hospitalist to provide 24-hour in-house coverage at Salinas Valley Health Medical Center — a nationally recognized maternity care hospital nestled in the beautiful and vibrant Central Coast city of Salinas, California.Job Description:The provider will be responsible for:Providing 24-hour in-house OB-GYN hospitalist coverageManaging labor and delivery for low-volume OBs in the communityHandling obstetrical triage and emergency situationsPerforming patient evaluations and managementAssisting in obstetrical surgeriesParticipating in fetal monitoring and coordination with MFM specialistsSupporting a Level III NICU operated in partnership with Lucile Packard Children's Hospital StanfordCollaborating with pediatric subspecialists and MFM supportEnsuring high-quality, evidence-based care for all obstetric patientsThis is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area.
