Expectations will be daily childcare including picking up from school, driving to afterschool activities, preparing healthy snacks and meals. Other duties will include the organization and maintenance of the child’s bedroom, wardrobe, closet, cleaning and sanitizing toys, books and drawing table. Additional duties will be changing sheets weekly and doing laundry twice a week only for their child. Parents expect you to keep inventory of child’s supplies and essentials/toiletries and purchase new clothes as needed.
Important to know: Family travels to their home a couple of hours away from Atlanta 1 - 2 times per month for the weekend. Family also travels to their home outside of the US twice a year during the summer. International trips usually last for 1 week at a time. Babysitting and late evenings will be requested approximately 2 evenings per week; ample notice will be given.
Family is only interested in meeting experienced candidates who have worked in private residences with verifiable recommendations and stable work history. They’re not in a huge rush and want to make sure they find the right candidate. The first of the new year is a possible start date. They’re seeking to hire a candidate who fluently speaks a second language and can implement it in their 6-year old’s daily activities, preferably Spanish or French. You must clear an extensive background check, have a clean motor vehicle report and a current CPR and First-Aid certification.
