Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner Position in Boston, MA-Hybrid Model Option

An innovative, mission-based Community Health Organization servicing Boston, South Shore, and Cape Cod, has an opening for an experienced Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner. This position is based at their South Boston location.

Compensation and Benefits:

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday position with the option of working a hybrid model after the first 6 months
• 32 Hours of patient care and 8 hours of administrative time per week
• Prescribe and maintain all clients on psychotropic medication
• Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats psychiatric conditions
• Participates in diagnostic formulations and development of treatment plans for patients

Requirements:

• Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Two years of experience prescribing psychotropic medication to adult psychiatric patients, experienced prescribing psychotropic medication to youth under 18 years of age preferred
• Experience working at a Community Health Center preferred
