Job Title: Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic
Location: Nashville, TN

Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Up to $40 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:30pm; Overtime as needed
Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and trailers (brakes, engines, transmissions, electrical, etc.)
Perform regular preventive maintenance inspections and services
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools
Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and inspection reports
Ensure all repairs comply with safety regulations and company standards
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to minimize vehicle downtime
Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy truck repair and maintenance
Valid driver's license (Class A or B CDL preferred but not required)
Strong understanding of diesel engines, air brake systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Proficient with diagnostic tools and repair software
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
ASE Certification or equivalent
Experience with fleet maintenance
Welding and fabrication skills
