Job Summary:
The Bindery Helper will assist with the daily operations of the Bindery Department. Ensuring that job tickets are meeting quality and production standards and assisting in any finishing task are completed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintain quality and production standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Must be able to effectively and efficiently operate multiple machines simultaneously.
Continually monitor quality of finished product per established QC guidelines.
Ensure work area is free of hazards and clean of debris.
Follows all required safety procedures and communicates all concerns regarding safety to department manager.
Complete paperwork to assure proper job counts along with job track ability.
Involve Department Supervisor and/or Department Manager anytime concerns exist relative to quality, schedules, delays, etc.
Read and understand the Job Work Order for instructions and specifications specific to the manufacturing of a job. Produce all jobs according to the specifications and instructions within the Work Order.
Work with other departments to ensure on-going improvement of production methods and productivity.
Work with other departments to ensure job schedules are maintained and customer expectations are exceeded.
