Job Description
• Under broad direction, is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related disciplines or sub-groups within the turnaround execution. Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to managers or professional staff. Participates in the development of project controls strategy and is responsible for global processes and procedures in safety, project risk control, cost control, scheduling, and execution. Skills required for this job are extensive Turnaround coordination experience.
• Conduct business within the company safety processes & procedures, create a safe culture among execution team leaders & members.
• Follow appropriate company SHEQ standards, assist operations and senior management with terms, commercials, qualifications, and exceptions.
• Good management practices, able to review a situation and take the lead to bring issue to completion. Must be forward thinking and not wait on upper management to direct TAR managers roles / responsibilities.

Requirements
Manage action items, document requirements, update maintain and distribute.
• Must have sound managing execution experience, disciplines (Civil, Structural, Piping, Fixed equipment, Fired equipment “Reformers” limited knowledge of Electrical and Instrumentation would be a plus)
o Assist with mobilization, site setup of executing contractors office trailers, laydown yards, parking lots, water distribution etc.
o Chair / Oversee daily safety meetings.
o Resolution of challenging situations, coordination between execution / process operators “permitting”, stop work issues due to safety concerns.
o Chair / Attend / Participate daily turnover meetings
o Manage daily reporting requirements cost, schedule, safety etc. (must have previous experience working with various departments to assure all mechanisms are fluid)
o Understand and manage the execution contractors’ scope of work to assure timely completion (within P6 schedule), Quality installation, Manage Change “Extra Work”
o Perform shift turnover with opposite shift manager.
o Assure process systemization (PSSR) completion & Mechanical Completion of turnaround work scope by Turnaround Packages / Systems.
o Work with Process operators as work packages are completed for sell off.
o Work with Process operators for pre-commissioning startup of facility.
o Manage demobilization of execution contractors as scope of work is completed.
o Manage demobilization of site infrastructure.
