Job Summary:

Join our Ad Intelligence team within the Disney Entertainment and ESPN Technology's Ad Platforms organization, where you will play a pivotal role in transforming advertising by developing leading-edge AI and data-driven solutions. Our mission is to optimize the advertising lifecycle for TV and streaming by harnessing the power of technology across various domains. We seek a proactive, inquisitive, and innovative Lead Research Software Developer experienced in machine learning or data-driven algorithm implementation to lead the development of prediction or optimization engines for addressable ad platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive innovation by applying state-of-the-art machine learning to enhance advertising aspects like inventory forecasting, targeting, and delivery.
• Lead the architectural design and iteration of ads algorithm, ensuring scalability and efficiency in data analysis and model development.
• Invent and iterate client solutions to complex ad-related problems swiftly.
• Experiment with and roll out new algorithms and models, optimizing their performance continuously.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor team members, promoting technical and professional growth.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala and familiar with large-scale machine learning/deep learning platforms.
• Solid foundation in algorithms, mathematics, and statistics.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and adaptability to fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Preferred Industry Experience:

• 5+ years of US xperience in the advertising domain, particularly with large-scale machine learning projects and forecasting algorithms, is highly desirable.
• Previous work within the digital video advertising or digital marketing domain is a plus.
