Linux Developer - Hybrid

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer with a strong emphasis on Linux development.
• Strong Practical working experience in Linux server configuration and shell scripting.
• Solid understanding of SSH / SFTP including public key authentication and configuration options.
• Practical knowledge of Unix file systems including basics of mount types, permissions, standard tools, pipes.
• Working knowledge of Python and preferably also Perl.
• Experience using and / or configuring common SDLC tools that support Agile, such as Jira, Jenkins, Ansible
• Practical working experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle Exadata
• Understanding of the Agile methodology
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Passion for automation and continual process improvement
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field.
