Location : Austin, TX (ONSITE)

Pay Range : $37.00 to $43.00 Per Hour on W2

Job Summary :

We are looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Lab Engineer to join our team focused on Alexa-enabled devices. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through meticulous testing and validation. Working alongside a dynamic team of Hardware and Software Engineers, the role demands strong technical skills combined with excellent communication and a problem-solving aptitude.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Define test strategy and develop comprehensive test plans for Alexa devices.
  • Design and execute detailed software tests to identify issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Develop scripts for test automation to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Regularly communicate progress and test results with project managers and team members.

Must-Have Skills :

  • Hands-on experience with software project testing and defining test strategies.
  • Proficiency in scripting, particularly in Python.
  • Experience with computer hardware (IT) and familiarity with UNIX / Linux environments
