JobSummary
The Directoris responsible for the analysis and appraisal of the care given to patientswithin the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Transition Nursery. This includesbut is not limited to the day to day departmental operations and productivity;future development and budgetary projections for the service line; outreach andmarketing; and, NICU transport. The Director ensures NICU/NSY maintains thehighest degree of efficiency and safety in providing the highest standard ofquality care; development of staff competency; inventory control and costcontainment; patient satisfaction; staff satisfaction; and, physiciansatisfaction. The Director collaborates and coordinates with the NICU and NSYstaff to uphold the values and vision of Del Sol while accomplishing themission of "Above all else. we are committed to the care and improvementof human life. In recognition of this commitment, we strive to deliver highquality, cost-effective healthcare in the communities we serve".
