Application Engineer – Diamond Grinding Wheels Location:

• Remote (with Domestic & International Travel) – Reporting to Noblesville, IN Facility Experience Level: Mid–Senior (5+ Years) Industry: Tool & Cutter Grinding, Fine Grinding, Electronics Manufacturing Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer specializing in diamond grinding wheels to support customers across the tool & cutter, fine grinding, and electronic sectors.
• This role combines deep technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, providing application support, process optimization, and technical solutions while working remotely and traveling as needed.

Key Responsibilities Provide technical application support for diamond grinding wheels in tool & cutter, fine grinding, and electronic manufacturing environments Recommend wheel specifications, bonds, grits, and process parameters to optimize customer grinding operations Conduct on-site and remote trials, demonstrations, and troubleshooting at customer facilities Collaborate with sales, R&D, and manufacturing teams to develop tailored solutions for customer needs Analyze customer processes and propose improvements for productivity, quality, and cost reduction Support new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives Deliver technical training to customers and internal teams Prepare technical reports, application documentation, and trial results Travel domestically and internationally as required while maintaining a remote work structure Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with diamond grinding wheels Strong background in:
