Role Title: Litigation Associate Attorney (BigLaw Firms)

Role Type: Contractor

Location: Remote

micro1 is engaging Litigation Associate Attorneys from top-tier US law firms to contribute expertise to a dynamic customer project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

  1. Review, analyze, and provide feedback on complex litigation and transactional documents, including contracts related to M&A, private equity, and capital markets activities.
  2. Draft sample agreements and legal clauses, leveraging experience with high-value M&A transactions and private equity deals.
  3. Evaluate legal scenarios and offer structured commentary to inform AI model development in areas such as data privacy and cross-border transactions.
  4. Collaborate remotely with interdisciplinary teams to provide legal insight and ensure accuracy in simulated legal tasks and scenarios.
  5. Contribute to the development of legal frameworks and decision rubrics (review rubric experience is a plus, but not required).
  6. Participate in iterative feedback cycles to refine training data, ensuring legal precision and practical applicability.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. JD from a US law school and active bar admission in good standing within the United States.
  2. Experience at an AmLaw 100 or similarly prestigious law firm, specifically with litigation and complex transactional matters.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in M&A, private equity, capital markets, contract drafting, and data privacy.
  4. Excellent written communication skills and the ability to articulate sophisticated legal reasoning for varied audiences.
  5. Proven track record of successful remote collaboration and multidisciplinary teamwork.
  6. Familiarity with developing or applying structured review rubrics is desirable.
  7. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail in high-stakes legal contexts.
