Summary:
-
Supports production of complex multi function modules for high reliability applications across all product lifecycle phases.
-
Resolves complex technical problems associated with implementation of operational products.
-
Collaborates with hardware, systems, and circuit design engineers, as well as manufacturing and technical support personnel.

Uses RF microwave test equipment for troubleshooting and validation.
-
Uses microwave simulation tools for design and analysis.
-
Applies expertise in RF subsystems including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, electronic modules, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits.

Develops technical documentation such as specifications, schematic drawings, and test data.
-
Leads failure investigations on production or technical issues.
-
Works with microelectronics assembly techniques.

Interfaces with customers via technical presentations.
Requirements:
-
Active Secret clearance required to start.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, or a STEM degree with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional engineering experience.

Experience with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues in a production or manufacturing environment.

Experience with hands on hardware.

Experience with RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.

Preferred: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.

Preferred: Significant relevant experience in the defense electronics industry.

Preferred: Expertise with RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, electronic modules, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits.

Preferred: Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques, technical documentation, and failure investigations.
