L3 Multi-Cloud DevOps Engineer (CI/CD & Kubernetes) Overview / Summary: Step into a high-impact DevOps role where speed, scale, and innovation collide. As an L3 Multi-Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will architect the pipelines and platforms that keep mission-critical production environments running at peak performance. From Kubernetes and GitOps to AWS, Azure, and GCP, you’ll drive next-generation automation, strengthen reliability, and accelerate delivery across a complex multi-cloud ecosystem. If you thrive on solving tough engineering challenges and building systems that power real business outcomes, this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities: Act as L3 escalation for CI/CD failures, deployment incidents, and release-related outages Lead triage and root cause analysis for recurring pipeline and platform issues Own release governance including deployment standards, approvals, rollback strategy, and cutover plans Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Harness Universal Pipeline for build, test, security scans, and deployments Build reusable pipeline templates and standards for consistent delivery across teams Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and Crossplane for declarative application and infrastructure deployments Develop and maintain Terraform modules for multi-cloud provisioning and automation Provision and operate Kubernetes clusters via Rafay, including upgrades, scaling, and security posture Maintain deployment automation using Helm, Kustomize, and cloud-native tooling Configure and manage API Gateways and Apigee for service traffic management and API lifecycle Integrate security scanning into pipelines including SAST, DAST, dependency, and container scans Implement monitoring and alerting using Splunk, Splunk OTel, Prometheus, Grafana, and AppDynamics Leverage AIOps capabilities for log analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive alerting Build dashboards and operational metrics for release health and deployment success Support PostgreSQL and MongoDB database operations within deployment and platform workflows Optimize CI/CD and runtime costs through right-sizing, scheduling, and utilization improvements Required Qualifications: Strong hands-on experience in L3 DevOps, Cloud Platform Engineering, or SRE supporting production workloads Demonstrated ownership mindset: build, operate, troubleshoot, and automate Experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP including deployment and operational support Strong Terraform proficiency including modules, state management, and environment promotion Strong Kubernetes expertise including networking, upgrades, and security hardening Proficiency with Harness CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices using ArgoCD and Crossplane Experience with Rafay for Kubernetes cluster management across multi-cloud environments Experience with API Gateway and Apigee for API lifecycle management Familiarity with container build and release workflows, artifact registries (Nexus), and Helm/Kustomize Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell Experience with observability tools including Splunk, Splunk OTel, Prometheus, Grafana, or AppDynamics Working knowledge of vector databases and their role in AI/ML workloads Familiarity with AIOps tools and practices for intelligent operations automation Proficiency with GitHub for source control and collaboration workflows Experience managing PostgreSQL and MongoDB in production environments Proven track record delivering RCAs, automation improvements, and stability enhancements Ability to create clear runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation Preferred Qualifications: Experience implementing GitOps at scale across multiple teams and environments Familiarity with policy enforcement tools such as OPA or cloud-native governance controls Exposure to DevSecOps practices and automated compliance enforcement Understanding of FinOps principles within CI/CD and Kubernetes environments Experience with Vault for secrets management and secure credential injection Hands-on experience with Score/Manifesto for declarative workload definitions Experience building or supporting AI/ML infrastructure including vector database deployments What Makes HTC A Great Place To Build Your Future HTC Global Services wants you to join our team.
