This role will ideally be a months contract to hire role. This is a contract to hire role, and the client does not provide any form of visa sponsorship. To qualify, candidates must be eligible to work in US without sponsorship now or in future. Candidates will be required to be on site three times a week in one of the following locations (the client is looking for local candidates who ideally do not have to relocate): • West Valley Road, Wayne, Pennsylvania • Water Ridge Pkwy, Charlotte, NC • Windrose Ave, Plano, Texas

Required Skills
This is for a senior level Cloud Engineer that is open to working in a multi-cloud environment. They are currently utilizing Azure and GCP now and AWS will be coming in the future; see below on required experience: -+ years of experience working as a Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on Azure - + years of experience working with GCP -+ years of experience working with Terraform - Experience with alerting and monitoring platforms such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Splunk, or Grafana - Experience building Self-Service Automation Platforms (ServiceNow, Python, Azure Automation, Logic Apps) - General scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI) - Knowledge of CI/CD platforms and their usage (GitHub Actions primarily, Azure DevOps acceptable)

Job Description
Designs, implements, and deploys cloud platforms to support and meet business needs. Identifies, recommends, and implements opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions.
  • Provides advanced level technical support and ensures reliable operation of cloud production. Troubleshoots software systems on multiple cloud computing platforms and system integration into existing cloud computing platforms. Maintains comprehensive technical knowledge of software and infrastructure platforms.
  • Develops technical standards. Tests and evaluates IT vendor products. Reviews configuration parameters to optimize system performance and maximize operation uptime
  • Elevates code into the development, test, and cloud production environments on schedule. Provides follow up production support. Submits change control requests and documents.
  • Learns and understands client area business functions and requirements. Determines the appropriate technical tool to address the client's business needs.
  • Trains and mentors more junior staff on processes and releases. Troubleshoots and resolves complex issues elevated from staff. Provides guidance and consultation as required. Updates, writes, and maintains documentation for the department.
  • Administers system activities. Writes the technical portion of assigned deliverables. Performs systems analysis, including system requirements analysis and definition, and logical design.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

You can use this version: Minimum of five years related work experience.
Strong Operational Knowledge of Azure Core Services (ARM/Bicep, Azure Functions, Blob Storage, Virtual Network, AKS, VM Scale Sets, Azure AD, Key Vault)
Experience with alerting and monitoring platforms such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Splunk, or Grafana
