Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

The assembler will be responsible for building various complex scientific instruments to support the production goals of a work cell. You will be part of an engaging team and collaborate with your colleagues to solve problems and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and calibrate all levels of assemblies and install in the final build of instruments that meet quality standards.
• Follow work instructions for mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies, material handling, and inventory verification.
• Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive team culture.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency in assembly, hand tool usage, mechanical assembly, inventory tracking, material handling, soldering, and quality control.
• High School Diploma required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronics assembly preferred but not required.
• Experience with pipette testing and fiber optic instruments is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally, 25lbs frequently, and 10lbs constantly.

This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
