Machinist Apprentice
Location: Centennial, CO
Pay Range: $20.00 – $34.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shift Options:
- First Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- Second Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Our team is seeking Machinist Apprentices to support the manufacturing of precision metal components used on our product assembly lines. This role is ideal for a developing machinist with hands-on experience who is ready to expand their technical skills and take on increased responsibility in a production environment.
Machinists at Stolle create or modify metal parts using both manual and CNC machine tools, working from engineering drawings and specifications. The Machine Apprentice applies foundational machining knowledge while continuing to build expertise in complex machining applications and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Operate manual lathes, mills, and surface grinders, including drilling, tapping, and milling operations
- Set up and operate speed cell machines
- Follow all safety requirements and maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Identify and properly use tools, fixtures, and gauging equipment
- Demonstrate understanding of machining practices across various materials
- Plan and execute the proper sequence of machining operations to meet production requirements
- Support rework and corrective machining needs for assembly operations in a timely manner
Skills Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior machining experience through on-the-job training and/or certification from an accredited vocational or technical school
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong teamwork skills, including effective communication, self-motivation, accountability, and proactive participation in a collaborative work environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $44.00/hr.
