Job Description :

Adolfson & Peterson Construction, one of the nation's top contractors, is recruiting for a Carpenter Apprentice. The role of the Carpenter Apprentice to assist Carpenters to construct, fabricate, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures to meet temporary and permanent building enclosure needs. This includes installing interior / exterior blocking and backing, basic concrete formwork, and setting door frames. Construction uses wood, plywood, wallboard, plastic and other general building materials. Depending on the region, this may also include assisting with placing and finishing concrete.

Because safety is paramount to AP and embedded into everything we do, all team members are responsible for working safely within our Incident and Injury Free culture.

Responsibilities :

• Take personal responsibility for working safely within an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture.

Be a champion to support IIF efforts for working safely and building a culture of care and concern for each team member in the workplace.

Utilize forming systems or handmade form systems.

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent.
