Note to Vendor to find a right candidate for this job:
Please focus on candidates with strong hands-on CockroachDB DBA/Database Engineering experience, specifically CockroachDB architecture/administration, distributed databases, Ansible Playbooks, and Bash/Korn Shell scripting. Candidates should also have experience with HA/multi-region deployments, performance tuning, monitoring, backup/restore, DR, IaC, and enterprise production environments. 8+ years of database engineering experience is required. Financial services/banking experience is highly preferred. Candidate must be able to work 3 days onsite in Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC.
Job location: Plano, TX / Charlotte, NC (3 Days onsite, 2 Days Remote) Hybrid role.
Job Type: 12+ Months contract

The CockroachDB Database Engineer will be a hands-on Engineer responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing CockroachDB as an enterprise Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) on Linux platform.
