Job description

Procurement Professional

Raytheon is seeking a procurement professional to join the LADS Supply Chain team. The selected individual will be responsible for procurement efforts in support of multiple programs across the Raytheon LADS portfolio.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform procurement and supplier management activities in support of U.S. Government and Commercial contracts.
  • Place purchase orders of low to medium complexity and medium volume.
  • Utilize source selection techniques, compile, and analyze data to perform price analysis, conduct negotiations (including terms and conditions), and identify supplier risks, with guidance as needed.
  • Ensure that requirements (prime contract, quality, terms and conditions) are properly communicated to suppliers and manage supplier performance to cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Work cross functionally with engineering, quality, and program management along with other key functional groups to ensure program needs are met.
  • Monitor procurement reports and help drive performance to meet company metric targets.
  • Communicate clearly and be proactive in a fast-paced environment. Be flexible, innovative, work with speed and agility yet be thorough and compliant with government and Raytheon regulations, while successfully driving tasks to completion.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional experience (excluding internships)
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS).

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Ability to participate in formal negotiations (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual requirements).
  • Interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and suppliers.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Perform and understand price analyses and sole selection/justification, with guidance as needed.
  • Experience with SAP.

The salary range for this role is $52,700 $83,000. The salary range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role, function, and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
