Hybrid Senior Database Administrator opportunity with an enterprise organization in St Louis, MO. In this role you will ensure the performance, reliability, and security of critical SQL Server databases. This is a high-visibility role where you ll work with leadership, influence technology decisions, and keep core systems running at peak performance.

Duties
- Monitor and maintain SQL Server databases for uptime, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions for SQL development and applications.
- Manage upgrades, rollouts, and database changes with minimal downtime.
- Create and test backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Partner with management to provide analysis and recommendations that support business needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on SQL Server administration in an enterprise environment both on prem and cloud
- Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud experience
- Strong skills in performance tuning, monitoring, and T-SQL/stored procedures.
- Experience managing database security, upgrades, and change implementations.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
