Job Summary:To be primarily responsible for managing, planning, establishing and maintaining MTE's Geographic Information Systems and leading GIS personnel in a manner to provide affordable, reliable, safe electricity and outstanding member service.Job Requirements: Encompass the three virtues of the Ideal Team Player (Humble, Hungry & People Smart).Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college is required.Must have a minimum of six (6) years of experience in GIS applications development and/or GIS project management, with at least three (3) years supervisory experience.Must have experience developing GIS networked data model(s), with strong preference given to experience in Esri based GIS.Preference will be given to those with knowledge and experience in GIS data management, integration with NISC ABS and CIS, Outage Management Systems, ADMN, relational database concepts, and power systems components.Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.Willingness to participate in on-the-job training.Benefits Package: 401(k) and ROTH 401(k) Accrued paid time off for vacation and sick leave Twelve paid holidays each year Employee pension program Medical, dental and vision insurance Mental health/well-being programs Discounts from companies like United Communications, Verizon and Nissan Financial and retirement planning services Tuition reimbursement Classification: Exempt All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to disability status, veteran status, or other legally protected status.MTE is a drug-free workplace and requires pre-employment drug test screening.
