LOCATION : Tulalip Club
JOB TITLE : Youth Development Professional
REPORTS TO : Unit Director, South Everett Boys & Girls Club
RATE : $17.13 to $18.00 hourly
SHIFT : Weekdays 2 : 30 PM to 7 PM
JOB SUMMARY

all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive,
caring, responsible citizens.
Under the supervision of the Unit Director, the Youth Development Professional is responsible for
helping to implement a variety of programs and activities that lead to three priority outcomes for
youth : Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character & Citizenship. Youth Development
Professionals work with youth and create an environment that is safe and fun while helping members
build confidence and skills.
Multiple shifts are available and Youth Development Professionals typically work approximately
20-25 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during the summer. School year
shifts are typically worked in the afternoons between the hours of 1pm and 6pm. Summer shifts are
typically worked between the hours of 9am and 6pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans and implements activities for youth that give them a sense of belonging, usefulness,
influence, and competence, utilizing existing curriculum from Boys & Girls Clubs of America in
addition to local initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Acceptance into all practices.
External applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check to be considered
for employment.
