ARLANXEO has a new career opportunity available for a PCS/Electrical Technologist at our Orange, TX manufacturing site.

As a PCS/Electrical Technologist, you will provide comprehensive oversight of the production process control systems, ensure plant electrical equipment reliability, proper use of maintenance standards and codes, effective installation of assigned capital projects, and management of the process control systems.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate with the plant maintenance and capital groups to ensure all electrical installations maintain compliance with assigned regulatory requirements as well as ARLANXEO engineering specifications and standards.
  • Maintain the Site Automation Master Plan.
  • Contribute to development of site reliability and maintenance cost improvement plans.
  • Review, update and establish preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliability through periodic or condition-based checks.
  • Perform incident investigations, analyze equipment failures, and perform critical job observations to help reduce injuries and equipment damage.

In order to accomplish this you will possess:

  • A BS degree in Electrical Engineering plus 3 years relevant work experience; or
  • AAS in Instrumentation/Electrical plus 5 years relevant work experience; or
  • 10 years relevant work experience in lieu of education
  • 5 years of engineering and leadership experience within a production facility
  • Must have a strong understanding of project management, maintenance, and have the training needed to accomplish the plant maintenance/project engineering mission.
  • Budget development, cost analysis, and inventory analysis skills are necessary.
  • Good interpersonal skills and must be highly proficient using a PC.
  • Experience in day-to-day equipment maintenance
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments, work in fast-paced environment, and manage multiple and competing tasks and demands. Organization and time-management skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of plant operations, materials, procurement, logistics, computers, and SAP are essential.
