Business Development Install Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Install Manager to grow and manage a turnkey installed-sales business. This role combines outside sales, business development, estimating, installer/subcontractor management, and project management.

The ideal candidate understands building materials and installation processes and can manage the entire project lifecycle-from developing the opportunity and closing the sale to securing an installer and ensuring successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business with general contractors, home builders, remodelers, developers, property managers, and commercial customers.

  • Sell complete building materials + professional installation solutions.

  • Conduct outside sales calls, customer meetings, consultations, and jobsite visits.

  • Prepare estimates, proposals, scopes of work, and project pricing.

  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and close profitable business.

  • Source, qualify, and manage installers and subcontractors.

  • Verify installer qualifications, insurance, licensing, certifications, and pricing.

  • Coordinate installers, customers, material deliveries, scheduling, and jobsite readiness.

  • Manage projects from contract through completion, including change orders, punch lists, warranty issues, and closeout.

  • Monitor installer performance, quality, schedule, safety, and customer service.

  • Resolve project issues and ensure work meets approved scope, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes.

  • Maintain strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for repeat and additional business.

  • Track project profitability, job costing, margins, and estimate-to-actual performance.

  • Understanding of construction contracts, change orders, permits, inspections, and building-code fundamentals.
