Role Summary The Vehicle Engineering Labs Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting operations and maintenance of vehicle testing facilities. This role includes daily operations support and customer coordination, with a strong focus on continuous improvement of testing and maintenance processes. Responsibilities Support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of testing facilities. Develop, document, and implement testing and maintenance procedures in compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements. Install instrumentation, test equipment, and other components on prototype vehicles in accordance with engineering specifications, standards, and/or test procedures Provide daily operational and test execution support across multiple facilities. Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities. Qualifications 2-5+ years of automotive- or aerospace-related testing experience. Experience operating and maintaining climate chamber and chassis dynamometer facilities strongly preferred. Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with automotive and electrified powertrain vehicles preferred. Fabrication, wiring, and building control system troubleshooting experience A proven track record of problem-solving and independent root cause analysis. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to produce clear, organized, and timely documentation. Team-oriented mindset. Strong interest in automotive technology. Ability to work independently. Pay Disclosure The Hourly Pay Range for this role is $47.33 - $59.16 for California based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs. The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards.
